• Making Appointments

A valid referral from your Medical Practitioner is required prior to consultation with a dermatologist.

Please ensure that a referral is either brought with you or sent through by a General Practitioner or Specialist prior to the appointment.

Referrals are valid for 12 months from a General Practitioner and for 3 months from a Specialist. This is from the day of initial consultation.

  • Waiting Times

We understand how busy you are and make every effort within our control to see you on time. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your first appointment to allow sufficient time to complete new patient registration forms and other necessary documents prior to your appointment.

As with every medical practice, we do experience delays due to unforeseen circumstances with certain procedures. However, we make every effort to prevent such delays but sometimes they are unavoidable.

Please feel free to contact our practice staff prior to your appointment to confirm your doctor is running on time.

  • Cancellation

Burswood Dermatology is a very busy practice with some doctors booked out over a month in advance. Hence, it is imperative that you turn up to your booked appointment with your doctor to ensure that your skin condition is assessed. We appreciate it if you could contact us if an appointment needs to be changed or cancelled. This allows the practice to accommodate patients who may need an urgent appointment.

A cancellation fee may be imposed if you do not cancel your appointment within 24 hrs of your appointment time.
